Many of the items on this site are old, so please expect some wear and tear, as indicated on the product descriptions.

Payments are taken via Paypal, either via a Paypal account or simply use your credit or debit card on the Paypal website. Our checkout is secured via Alpha SSL, you can find out more by clicking on the seal below:

An online shopping experience should be quick and easy! Here are the steps to buying from the Vintage Trading shop. Further details are below, here is a summary:

i. Select the item you would like to buy

ii. UK orders: use the shopping cart and checkout via Paypal using your credit card or Paypal account if you have one. Please let us know if you’d like a quote for shipping or to collect the item in person. You can view our shipping costs here.

iii. For international orders, please email us your enquiry and we will send a quote for shipping costs:

Orders are generally dispatched via Royal Mail, Parcelforce or MyHermes. We aim to despatch within 5 working days of ordering. Please view our terms & conditions of sale, shipping costs and privacy policy.


Add to the Shopping Basket

Before you can purchase an item, add the item(s) to the shopping basket. Just click on the “Add to cart” button for the item (s) you want. You will then be taken to the shopping cart where you will see all the items you have selected. You then have the option to continue with your shopping or to proceed to the Checkout to purchase the item(s) in your shopping cart.

It is easy to check what is in your basket at any time by clicking on the “Cart” button at the top of the screen. If you want to remove something, just click on the red cross next to the item in your shopping cart that you want to remove. This will remove the items you want to delete or remove.

Proceed to Checkout

When you have all the items you need in your shopping cart, click the “checkout” button, which will take you to a page where your details need to be completed before being directed to Paypal where you can pay for your items.

You do not need to register on this site to order goods, all payments are handled through Paypal and you do not need a Paypal account to use Paypal, you can use all major credit cards.

For your convenience, you can enter an alternative delivery address – after all you may wish to purchase an item as a gift or have it delivered to your place of work.

Paying for Your Goods – Online Checkout

Always check the details in the basket and make sure you are happy with your order before making your purchase. When you click on the “Checkout” link, you will be taken to the checkout stages. There you can enter your billing and shipping addresses, payment details and complete your order securely online via Paypal, which accepts major credit cards. You can cancel your order at anytime and you are entitled to a full refund.

You may also order by post with a cheque (goods will be despatched once the cheque has cleared), and if you would like a quote for shipping large items or international shipping, we will send you a Paypal invoice for payment.


Delivery, Postage and Packaging

We will send an e-mail or text message (if you provide a mobile phone number when ordering from us) when your order is despatched, so that you know when to expect the item. Items are generally sent by Royal Mail or Parcelforce. We aim to keep delivery costs down as much as possible.

We also deliver to your place of work if you have included an alternative for delivery address. If the work address delivery fails because we cannot find you, we cannot deliver again without incurring another delivery charge.

For larger or very heavy items please contact us for a quote. All other delivery prices will be automatically displayed during your shopping journey.

We deliver across the UK, and we also accept orders by post. For international orders, will we email you with a quotation for shipping costs. You can then decide if you want to go ahead and order.

We re-use packaging where possible to help with sustainability and recycling!


Returns Policy

If you are unhappy with your purchase because it arrives damaged or broken, you can return it to us in its original condition within 10 days of the date you received the item, unused, and we will then issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item or an exchange, this does not include return postage.

Please follow the steps below to enable us to process your refund efficiently and quickly:

• Provide reason for the return and your original order number and any other details you may wish to include

• If the reason for the return is due to a faulty product, please provide a full description of the fault as best you can

• Package the item securely using the original packaging the item came in where possible

We will notify you via e-mail when we have processed your return. This may take up to 2 weeks although we will make every effort to inform you as fast as we can.

For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service, please keep the receipt for your own files as we may ask for a copy or obtain proof of posting (free from your Post Office) when returning goods as we cannot provide a refund or exchange if we do not receive the original goods back. We do not offer a free returns service.

We cannot accept returns of bespoke products that have been made to order.

This guarantee does not affect and is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.
